St Michael's is open some Saturdays between May and September, offering free public entry to this unique and beautiful Grade 1 listed cast iron church.

Built in 1815, St Michael's and the 'Hamlet' of houses around it went even further than St George's Everton in replacing traditional materials and building techniques with a revolutionary new approach, securing Liverpool's unique place in architectural history.

St Michael’s continues to provide a vibrant local centre for community life and an accessible sacred space for personal reflection and worship.

We would love you to come and learn more about this historic and beautiful hidden gem of Liverpool.

Volunteers and leaflets are available to enhance your visit.
